This lovely pattern captures the scent of lavender in a summer garden. Inspired by seeing the bees busy working on  the lavender plants in my garden, this cushion works up to an eye catching feature for any room. Bordered by a stitched interpretation of a Victorian lace pattern, the central scatter pattern becomes multi-directional which thus creates a pleasing geometric shape.

The design is stitched on easy to see 11 count  white Aida, which means that it works up quickly. The kit contains needles, DMC cottons, a large scale chart, yarn sample colour key, full instructions, and a pre-gathered lace for the outside border. The stitched area is 13"  x 13" (33.0 x 33.0 cm) with enough plain border to make it into a 16 inch square cushion (40.6 cm), suitable for most cushion inserts.
