Our kits are now stocked at Norfolk Lavender

April 2007 - Norfolk Lavender, England's premier lavender farm situated near sunny Hunstanton in Norfolk, are now stocking our lavender design kits.  These compliment other gift items on sale at their extensive visitor attraction centre. The gardens contain the National collection of over 150 lavender plant varieties. It is a truly amazing sight when they are in bloom. To celebrate the event, we are giving away a free lavender sachet with each Lace & Lavender cushion purchased  directly from us. Click on this link for details.

January 2007 - Caithness Crystal based in King's Lynn are now stocking a range of our designs. Following the purchase by new owners, the visitor centre has undergone a major refurbishment. Visitors have the opportunity to watch professional glassblowers creating a selection of glass products. In the range of kits supplied, we have included our picture of a glassblower at work and also a design of glass apple and pear ornaments. Click this link to see the designs.

August 2006 -  Our autumn promotion will be launched shortly. As the evenings are getting longer, there is now more time to spend on needlework and start new projects. We recognise this and are finalising the details for a promotion which will be of interest to all needle workers.  Watch this space!

December 2005 - Our new web site is launched to show our large range of kits to a much wider audience. This will also allow us to keep existing customers and collectors up to date with news about the latest designs and provide technical information for customers.

Latest range of printed cards

December 2005 - One of our designers, Joan Skipper a well known East Anglian artist, has produced a range of cards based on her original paintings. These images reflect the abstract nature of her work. This range of cards can be used as gift cards with our kits, or simply as a special note card. Alternatively they can be framed as an original print. Click here for more information.

July 2005 - A special tapestry kit to mark the bicentenary of Admiral Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 has been produced. We chose to produce this design because Nelson was a "Norfolk boy" and was born in Burnham Thorpe not far from where we were born. This charted kit is worked in tent stitch using Appleton's 100% wool yarns and contains everything needed to complete the design. Finished design size is 16 ins x 16 ins (40.5 cm x 40.5 cm.) This kit retails at a special price of £32.77 (£38.50 including VAT) until the end of 2005. Click here for further information.
